Instrument entirely restored; the housing case has been re-polished. The strings, tuning pins, and felts of the frame are new. The hammers are entirely new and supplied by Abel. The heads are covered with “natural felt”. The action is a genuine Renner. The keyboard is of ivory and ebony and is in perfect condition. The higher strings are nickel strings by Paulello and the bass strings were supplied by Heller Bass. This example has no sostenuto pedal.

This is an instrument with a clear and singing sound and of great strength. As often with Ibach, the high notes are very beautiful, powerful and crystal clear.
